Growing older is a fact of life. Everyone will experience it. How you grow older is up to you.
Keeping physically fit, remaining socially active, and keeping your mind engaged is a healthier way to age and live your life to the fullest.
Your YMCA Wellness journey will consist of the following
- 45 minute group sessions, 2 times per week

Weight sessions to develop bone density

Movement sessions to improve general wellbeing and aid your independent lifestyle

Flexibility and balance sessions for improved neurological function

Brain exercises to keep the mind alert and healthy

Nutritional advice with the older person in mind

Social environment to keep you young at heart
All classes are capped at 8 participants (Mt Gravatt) and 12 participants (Bowen Hills) per session so you receive the personal attention you deserve.
